This photo taken on Oct. 7, 1964 shows Orlander Harrison, leaving his small country store and gas station by boat on Highway 33 at the Pitt-Beaufort County line, after flooding from Tranter's Creek. A large section of the highway was under 30 inches of fast flowing water.

This is not Olander (correct spelling) Harrison but Coy Bullock who sharecropped my granddaddy's farm. My granddaddy owned the farm and store located at Tranters Creek on the county line.
