The officer fourth from the left was my first cousin Davis C. Evans, he is now deceased, he died a young man in his forties.

The officer on the far right is Billy Coggins. He graduated from Rose High School 1960. He was in my class.

The names on the certificates in the front row from left to right are: David L. Wiseman, Julius J. Jones, Davis C. Evans, and Billy M. Coggins. The certificate reads: Coastal Plain Police School Certified by Kinston Police Department This certificate is awarded to [name] who has satisfactorily completed an extension course in recruit training November 14, 1962.
