Emily Nelson Exum Mar 31 2010

I am the girl on the float. At the time I was Emily Blanche Nelson. Mr. J. R. Harvey was my maternal grandfather. I may have been Miss Grifton. at that time. I still remember that red chiffon dress. I kept it for years. Representative Marian McLawhorn is my sister. I am now married to John Patrick Exum, the retired Chief District Court Judge of the Eight Judicial District. We live in Kinston now.
