The rally was at the Pitt County courthouse, Greenville, NC. The base of the monument is visible, as is the old post office. The Daily Reflector offices were not far, at that time. The rally faces the intersection of Evans and 3rd Streets, one of the central spots in Greenville back in 1960, just years before Pitt Plaza, etc.
