"This videotape is a bit of a history lesson, separating the fact from the fiction." Based on the novel of the same name by Helen Hunt Jackson, the outdoor pageant Ramona, dramatized the plight of the southern California Mission Indians. The video details Jackson's motives and the influences which helped shape her story. Also included is a history of the outdoor drama and excerpts of scenes performed from the drama over the past 50 years. Run time: 60 minutes. Date approximated.
