Abstract:

The February 1974 issue of Wildlife in North Carolina carried an article that discussed problems facing the bog turtle in the state. During the summers of 1975 and 1976, the Highlands Biological Station conducted surveys to investigate the turtles' distribution in the mountains. Sanders reports on the findings.
