Abstract:

"The triad's underutilized airport is poised to become a top aerospace manufacturing hub" Piedmont Airlines relocated its operations from Winston- Salem to Charlotte in 1979. Currently the vacated space is occupied by three futuristic aircraft manufacturers, two major aircraft maintenances companies and a huge FedEx air hub.
