Abstract:
"ECU's Jamie Dewitt is a national leader in PFAS research." Man-made chemicals, PFAS have been used in a variety of industries for the past 70 years. Health effects have been observed in both humans and animals. Concern in North Carolina over started in 2017, when GenX was found in teh Cape Fear River in high concentrations.
