"At a Martin County coliseum, all ages gather for horse shows and rodeos, tractor pulls and motocross, underscoring the enduring relevance of North Carolina agriculture." The Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center has been a staple in Williamston for nearly 30 years. The facility is named for State Senator R.L. "Bob' Martin, who served for nine terms in the North Carolina Senate starting in 1985. Current manager for the Agriculture Center is Susan Tyre.
