Abstract:

"Western N.C. golf courses battle to rebound from the hurricane's strike." Opened in 1927, The Muni was the first municipal golf course in North Carolina. The Muni was one of dozen of golf courses in Western N.C. affected by the storm. Others mentioned are Linville ridge Country Club and Sugar Mountain Golf Course in Banner Elk.
