Abstract:

Nathan Van Nortwick is owner of the oyster farm, Belhaven Oyster Company. As his company's only employee, he plants, harvests, sells and delivers them to local restaurants. He began in 2020 with 50,000 oyster seeds. Van Nortwick got his lease to farm two acres in the Pungo River in 2018.
