Abstract:

White, now 41, began working with the museum in 2022. The Charlotte museum is the second oldest museum in Charlotte, opening 1976. White's efforts are helping the museum expand from it primary concentration on colonial history. The entity will pay off a 20 year debt at the end of 2025. It's current operating budget of $1.4 million has primarily come from grants, memberships and donations. during the summer of 2024, the city allocated $100,000 derived from COVID relief money.
