"Come November, folks gather in Harnett County to learn about a crop and a way of life that shaped this land and the people who toiled over it." On the first Saturday of November, the city of Dunn will close off eleven downtown blocks to accommodate the 10,000 visitors coming to experience the NC Cotton Festival.
