Laura Vinroot Poole is the daughter of two-term Charlotte mayor and former N.C. gubernatorial candidate Richard Vinroot. In 1998, she and her husband opened Capitol near SouthPark Mall, later expanding with a sister store, Poole Shop, Tabpr menswear store in 2015 and a second Capitol location in Santa Monica, California.
