"A behind-the-scenes look at how the Commission manages more than 1,500 acres of public dove fields." Dove hunting is one of the most sought after recreational opportunities that North Carolina game lands offer. As to what to plant in fields to attract doves, sunflowers are emphasized as particularly desirable to doves for their seeds.
