Abstract:

Ravi and Chandra Patel head Charlotte based Stee Hotels, one of the Southeast's largest hotel chains. A nephew, equity owner and director of external affairs, Vinay Patel says when Ravi and Chandra showed up in 1980 to buy a small roadside hotel, they were dismissed and told to go back where they came from. however, they were undaunted.
