Abstract:
Enoch Hall, was named by the King as Chief Justice of North Carolina in 1744. He was on a commission in 1746 to compile, index and print the Laws of North Carolina. Hall traveled extensively to hold court around the province and pushed to increase the number of courts and for their better regulation. He died in England on October 18, 1753.
