Abstract:

Joshua Bodley, a native of Ireland, was appointed as an agent in North Carolina for the Earl Granville. He got in trouble with the actions of Francis Corbin, the other agent for Earl Granville, over quitrents. He was eventually removed as agent. Bodley’s home was Pembroke Plantation near Edenton.
