Abstract:

The town of Dillsboro, located less than three miles from the Jackson County seat of Sylva, hosts a vast array of arts, crafts, eateries, and outdoor recreation opportunities. Among the must-see attractions are Dogwood Crafters, Toad in the Hole, Tree House Pottery, Dillsboro Chocolate Factory, Dillsboro River Company, Appalachian Women’s Museum, American Museum of the House Cat, Haywood Smokehouse, The Well House, and Jackson County Green Energy Park.
