Robert Salter, of Pitt County, had a son, John Salter, of Pitt County, who had a son James Salter, who married Sarah A. _____. James and Sarah A. Salter had: Thomas W. Salter of Clark Co., GA., Caswell A. Salter of Clark Co., GA., Julia Salter (m. Henderson Davis) of Cass Co., GA. These three children received money from John Gray Blount, administrator of Robert Salter dec’d. These three children release William A. Blount as executor of James Salter, dec’d. Moses B. Clement and Sophia E. Clements of Marengo Co., AL, were also heirs of Robert Salter, dec’d.
