Abstract:

Edward Salter by Will gave property in Pitt County to his daughter, Peggy Salter. Peggy died intestate, leaving heir, Mary Blackledge . Mary Blackledge was the mother of William S. Blackledge, Lousisa Blackledge (m. Hadrianus Van Norden); Sally Blackledge (m. David Jones); Sophia Blackledge (m. William Gorham); Mary Blackledge (m. Jeremiah Brown) and Nancy Blackledge (m. Green Bryant).
