Abstract:
On Aug. 5, 1809, William Gorham and wife Sophia sold land to Franklin Gorham; being the land patented by William Duval and purchased from Martha Duval by Edward Salter the elder. Edward Salter the elder, by Will, gave it to his son, Edward Salter, Junior, who lived on it. Edward Salter, Junior, by Will, gave it to his daughter Nancy (Peggy) Salter, and by her death fell to her sister, Sophia Salter Gorham. Mentions Ann Salter, the elder.
