Abstract:

In 1827, Redding Stokes and his two sons, George Hatch Stokes and Samuel Taylor Stokes were the first settlers on Taylor’s Bay, Woodruff Co., AR. Taylor’s Bay was named after Samuel Taylor Stokes.
