Josiah Lawrence vs. Thomas Tyson, 1788…states Henry Harris was the son of Timothy Harris. And that David Hines and James Hines were brothers; William Turnage vs. William Bentley, 1785; John Foreman vs. Thomas Tyson, 1787; Thomas Tyson vs. James Lanier; David Donnan vs. Absalom Rogers…mentions in 1783 that George Walston of Pitt County is age 68; John Williams of Pitt County is age 60; and James Edwards of Beaufort County is age 70; John Tyson vs. Joel Tyson; Deposition of William Kilpatrick, of Lenoir County, 1801, about the land of Alexander Mitchell and his son Alex Livingston Mitchell. They murdered Henry Kennedy and broke jail and ranaway. The land was patented then by Mathias Harvey, who sold the land to William Jones; Deposition of Rachel Tindal, Pitt County, 1784…states she was married to Mason Tyson, and after his death she married John Boren. She had a son named Thomas Tyson; Deposition of George Bland, 1784.
