Abstract:

North Carolina offers a variety of camping opportunities in the mountains, forests, and coast. North Carolina’s three more popular attractions, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, offer excellent camping facilities. Altogether, North Carolina has more than fifty public campgrounds and over two-hundred private campgrounds.
