Abstract:

This article concerns the administration of the estate of Ichabod Allen, formerly of Pitt Co., NC, and brother of Aaron Tyson Allen and Thomas Allen, both of Pitt Co., NC, and Samuel Allen of Perry Co., AL. According to Perry Co., AL Marriage Records, Ichabod Allen married on Feb. 29, 1832 to Elizabeth Thigpen, dau. of Joseph Joshua Thigpen, formerly of Dobbs Co., NC. (Also mentions Bland, Lewis, Yeates, Moore, Watson, Sutton)
