Found in the Daily Reflector in 1947. The article is about Mrs. Martha Corey, 92, of Rocky Mount, NC and her younger sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Cannon, 90, of Ayden, NC, daughters of Josiah Nelson. They talk of growing up on a farm, growing flax, making their own clothes, attending tournaments, and beauty contests. The article gives the names of many of their descendants.
