This a letter dated Sept. 28, 1854 from James Griffin of Bay River, Craven Co., NC (now Pamlico County) to his sister-in-law Mrs. Mary Griffin, of Sebastian Co., Ark. It mentions the death of Lanier Griffin and Stanly Griffin, brothers of James Griffin.
