Abstract:
The work of abstract painters Louise Fishman and Douglas Sanderson will be on display in the Contemporary Gallery through this fall. Fishman’s work is described as impassioned and moody and as examples of abstract expressionism. Sanderson’s work is described as overthoughtful and serene and all of the forms in his work are portrayed through horizontal bands. The styles of each artist are compared and contrasted in depth.
