Cary-based Icarus Studios has laid off 82 of its 110 employees and owes many backpay. The gaming company had an investor pull funding which caused the layoffs. The company is still working on its signature game, Fallen Earth despite the layoffs. Former employees are upset and looking for new jobs while they wait to be paid for their work.
