Abstract:

There 70 different diseases that cause people to need a bone marrow donation. While there are 23 million people on the bone marrow donor registry, sometimes that’s not enough and a match can’t be found. Steve Luquire has been on a mission to change that ever since his wife, Vicki, found out she would need one to help her myelodysplastic syndrome.
