Abstract:
In the Fall of 2011, Charlotte, North Carolina became occupied with a movement of protesters. Becoming one of the leaders of Occupy Charlotte over time, Michael Zytkow is continuing a family tradition of activism as his grandfather fought for the Warsaw Uprising in the last days of the Nazi occupation of Poland. Occupy Charlotte seeks to empower the community as an intellectual revolution that starts from scratch.
