Abstract:
The Kornegay family has five of their seven children who are ECU graduates, with four sons following their father, Hervy Kornegay, Sr., a 1957 graduate of Wake Forest University School of Medicine, into the medical field. The sons, Hervy, Jr., Chad, Todd, and Jon are all graduates of the ECU Brody School of Medicine and all four followed the school's primary mission--\"to increase the supply of primary care physicians to serve the people of Eastern NC.\"
