Abstract:

Crabtree Creek State Park is featured in this third in a series of articles on North Carolina's state parks. The park is in Wake County seven miles from Raleigh. It covers 5,000 acres of heavily wooded forest and is traversed by Crabtree Creek and numerous smaller creeks. The facility is used extensively by a number of groups.
