Industrial and Agricultural Development of Duplin County

Abstract:
Duplin is primarily an agricultural county. Tobacco and cotton are raised, but most of the acreage is devoted to truck farming. The article covers some of the towns there, like Faison, Warsaw, and Kenansville, and the stores and industries they have. Faison is known for Cates Pickles, which has the country's largest individual salting station with approximately 325 vats set up.
