The 200 Mile Limit: Slowly but Surely Taking Hold

The Fishery Conservation and Management Act (FCMA) was established in 1977, with the concept of 200 mile fishing conservation zones that decreases foreign fishing and increases domestic fishing. Although slow to take, this article discusses the FCMA in North Carolina.
