Abstract:
Blacknall, a native of Henderson, had been doing mission work at Nenana, Alaska for a number of years. A friend who had a ten-day-old baby was nervous about making a flight from Fairbanks to Barrow to rejoin her husband and asked Blacknall to come with her. Blacknall describes her flight of 2,280 miles over terrain that few Americans had seen at that time.
