Abstract:
One of the most important national historic shrines is old Fort Raleigh, located on Roanoke Island, visited yearly by thousands of people from all over the United States. Scenes from more than 350 years ago are now being reconstructed at Fort Raleigh to preserve the area as it would have originally been built.
