Abstract:
Old cotton mills, old houses, and interesting historical events combine to make Nash County an attractive section of the State to visit. Cotton mills abound in Rocky Mount, and General Cornwallis made his way through Nash County on the way to Virginia, and there is a homestead in Nash County that is over 200 years old, built in 1735.
