Abstract:
\"Mr. Fixit\" was a nickname for one Guy L. Bunch, a Raleigh man born in 1866. The article chronicles Mr. Bunch's life from a runaway at fourteen, to sailor, MIT graduate, and eventually a member of the United States Secret Service. He spent retirement in his little repair shop near Raleigh and earned the nickname \"Mr. Fixit\" because of his aptitude for repairing small machinery.
