Abstract:

James M. Craven and Kent L. Hogan founded Carolina Galvanizing Company in Aberdeen in 1969. The company began as a job galvanizing shop with twelve employees. In 1972 the company began its own line of galvanized products and has grown to be the largest producer of galvanized bar stock in the country. The company now employs 198 full-time workers.
