Handiwork That Changed the Landscape of Raleigh

Abstract:
C. V. York and R. J. Cobb formed a construction company in Greenville in 1904. Their first job was to construct the first six buildings of East Carolina Teachers Training School. York bought out Cobb in 1910 and moved the company to Raleigh, establishing a firm that has been in continuous operation ever since.
