Ronnie Shavlik, an All-American basketball player at North Carolina State University between 1954 and 1956, is president of the largest contract cleaning company in the state, Carolina Maintenance Company, Inc., of Raleigh. Beginning with one employee in 1957, he now employs 550 workers.
