Abstract:

In 1931, the century-old Raleigh Iron Works became Peden Steel, a company specializing in steel fabrication. Today, Peden's facilities in Raleigh, and a new plant in Nashville, NC, cover 275,000 square feet and have a production capability of 30,000 tons annually.
