Abstract:
In this WILDLIFE IN NORTH CAROLINA series on wildlife management areas, Critcher describes the Caswell Wildlife Management Area. The area, lying near Yanceyville in Caswell County, comprises 14,037 acres of undulating to rolling Piedmont land, which is 92 percent wooded. The area is being developed for small game to provide public hunting for wild turkey, quail, rabbit, and squirrel in the coming years.
