Abstract:
A musical treasure awaits visitors to the Greensboro area each summer. For the past twenty-two seasons, the Eastern Music Festival has operated a six week classical music festival on the campus of Guilford College. The festival performs music of every type.

Abstract:
The Furniture Library is one of North Carolina's and the country's least-known libraries. Housed in a stony house in High Point, the library contains the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of books pertaining to history. Few people outside of the furniture industry know of it. Over 600 of the library's 5,400 volumes were printed before 1800.
