Abstract:
The North Carolina Citizens Association presented this year's Citation for Distinguished Citizenship to Holt McPherson, who, for almost thirty years, has been editor of The High Point Enterprise. He was also editor of The Shelby Daily Star for eleven years and was a newspaperman in Florida for several years. McPherson is the first newspaperman cited by the Association for distinguished citizenship.
