Arthur G. Odell, Jr. founded Odell Associates Inc., a Charlotte architectural firm in 1940. With approximately one hundred employees and branch offices in South Carolina and Virginia, it is one of the South's largest architectural firms. Odell, the first Southerner ever to hold the presidency of the American Institute of Architects, is featured in We the People of North Carolina magazine's Businessman in the News.
