Abstract:
Edwin B. Borden is president and treasurer of Borden Manufacturing Company in Goldsboro. His grandfather and his great-uncle founded the company in 1900. Today the Borden Manufacturing operates about 35,000 spindles and employs over 300 people. The company distributes its yarn through the eastern United States for use in industrial fabrics, hosiery, and sleepwear. Borden is featured in We the People of North Carolina magazine's Businessman in the News.
