Abstract:
The 1963 General Assembly created the Courts Commission and charged with carrying out Article IV of the state constitution. The fifteen member committee was granted seven years to complete this task. One of the biggest problems the commission faced was organizing a series of district courts to be run under the Superior Court.
Abstract:
Several court cases prompted law enforcement officers to clarify the terms of drunk driving. In each of the three cases reviewed, the court ruled that some movement of the car was necessary to arrest someone for driving while intoxicated.
